This class is designed to press into the weightier elements of algebra. Students will refine old skills and extend them into more challenging topics.
The course will start with familiar topics like variables and equations and shift into combining them—as systems for example—or dissecting them—by exploring exponents for example. The various pieces will be disassembled and reassembled in various ways as we explore a wide range of skills.
Zoom in to and out from equations by looking at their pieces and relationships.
Build a strong understanding of the many operations.
Visualize spatial figures as they relate to their equations.
Handle some of the more challenging aspects of trigonometry
Explore life applications as well as the value of theory.
Graph paper
Pencils & erasers
Ruler
